Brief presentation of my work
In my work, I mainly deal with the design of metal structures. The process begins with a discussion of the assignment with the client, the architect, the technologist and other specialists on the team when necessary. We are talking about dimensions in plan and height, number of floors (above ground and underground), geographical location, slope of the terrain, adjacent to existing buildings and loading of stored materials and machinery.
If necessary, we do feasibility studies and analyze options for an optimal solution. If the client cannot draw up a task, I or the architect help him. I also discuss the ground engineering geological report with the geologist who produced it. These discussions include foundation depth, soil strength, water table and possible problems and ways to solve them.
Then we move on to the design, which includes determining the general composition of the structure - where what elements will be: slabs, beams, columns, load-bearing walls, etc. This "creative" process is coordinated with the architect, technologist and client and is expressed in 2D drawing with AutoCAD. I determine the loads and impacts according to the design norms, geographic location and client assignment, using programs such as SAP2000-24 for more complex items. I then perform calculations to get results on how the elements are loaded and stressed.
With the obtained results, I size each element, determine the shape and dimensions of the cross section of the element (plate, beam, column). I make metal structure drawings: plans, sections, details, using 3D modeling and 2D drawing generation. Then I make drawings of the foundations (foundations) and compile an explanatory note, specifications and static calculations. I send the project for agreement and approval to the other specialists and the contracting authority, then I print, stamp and sign it. I hand over the project to the contracting authority for technical control.
In summary, for each project I compose, discuss, agree, read and follow laws, calculate, model, draw, print, stamp, sign and be responsible to the client and the law.

Technical control
I receive the finished project from the fellow designer and carefully review the entire project, checking that all design laws have been followed. If I have remarks, I share them with the fellow author of the project, who corrects the project if necessary. If everything is fine, I write a report that I attach to the project, stamp and sign the project with the "Technical Control" seal and my personal signature, and return the project to the colleague.
Comprehensive design
in all parts
I organize and lead a team of fellow designers in the other parts necessary for the project: architecture, geodesy, plumbing, electrical installations, etc. I accept the task from the client, create a design assignment, specify the deadline and payment, monitor compliance with the deadline, communicate with everyone in the team and organize meetings.
OPTIMIZATION OF
AVAILABLE PROJECT
I receive a task from the contracting authority for the optimization of a project made by another designer, I examine the project, make my own calculations and checks. If I identify an opportunity for optimization, I share with the client and make a proposal for price, design time and a percentage reduction in construction costs. If the client agrees and has paid everything to the designer of the old project, we proceed to design.
