How technical control is performed
In its essence, technical control is an inspection and approval of a project by an engineer other than the one who made it, who has the legal capacity to exercise this type of control.

First, the designer must prepare the specific design and submit it to the inspecting engineer. He, for his part, has the task of reviewing and analyzing in detail all the details and specifics of the project. In cases of irregularities, a signal is given to the designer to remove them.

The next step in the technical control is the preparation of a report by the controlling engineer to be applied to the project. Finally, the examiner stamps it together with the project drawings with a technical control stamp.

After two years of work for a German designer company and twenty years for a Bulgarian company as a contractor of metal structures, Eng. Vassilev's portfolio includes over 140 successfully designed metal structures and preliminary design studies for over 900 structures - from warehouses, offices, houses and distilleries to crane overpasses and retaining walls.
